GENERAL INFORMATION

The use of this website and sale of goods are governed by the Terms and Conditions listed below. These explain your rights, responsibilities and our operating policies.

Please be aware that using this site indicates that you accept the terms and agree to be bound by them regardless of whether or not you choose to register with or order from us.

The Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time by updating this posting and as such you are advised to check this page periodically to review them.

Please note also that some of the Terms and Conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices located on individual pages of this site.

REGISTRATION

Most areas of this site are viewable without registering your details with us, however checkout pages are only accessible by registration. To register you must be over eighteen years of age.

During registration you are asked to submit some personal details. This information is used only for providing you with goods or services that you have requested from us.

Please help us to provide you with efficient service by ensuring that your personal details are correct and complete. Information can be up dated in the "My Account" area of the Website.

For security reasons each registration is for a single user only. Please do not share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network.

Responsibility for the security of passwords rests with you. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your registration immediately if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions or in other circumstances at our reasonable discretion.

ORDERING

You are deemed to place an order with us by completing our online checkout process or by calling Customer Services on 0845 050 8154 with details of your proposed purchase and credit card information.

As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

We may refuse to accept an order:

where goods are not available

where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment

if there has been a pricing or product description error

if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.

AVAILABILITY & DELIVERY

We try to maintain a high level of stock, but occasionally due to demand items become unavailable. The website indicates whether individual products are in stock or when they are due in. Sunglass Studio aims to keep this information as up to date and accurate as possible. The time given for products to come back in to stock is a guideline only, as we are subject to manufacturers changing their supply schedules. As such we are not able to give guarantees of future availability on or by a certain date.

We endeavour to get products in stock as soon as possible and will keep customers informed of delays and progress. Sunglass Studio is not liable for compensation in the event of product stocking delays or changes to earlier stated availability.

When you place an order, if an error is discovered in the stock status you will be notified by our Customer Services department as soon as we pick up the error and you will have the option either to wait until the Products become available or to cancel your Order.

We despatch all goods by Special Delivery and in most cases you will receive the goods the next working day after despatch. Special Delivery is a service that is not controlled by us and we cannot therefore guarantee delivery of your goods the next day. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery of your order.

We will e-mail you as soon as your order has been dispatched. If you do not receive them within the time periods specified above please e-mail us as at despatch@sunglassstudio.co.uk

PRICES

The prices displayed for products at the time you place your order are the price you pay, except where we discover an error in product pricing. In the event of pricing errors, we will contact you with the correct price and give you the option of proceeding with your order at the revised price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the Order as cancelled.

All prices include VAT at the current rates.

Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified price list as shown elsewhere on this site.

Our prices are reviewed periodically and are usually updated in line with Manufacturers recommended retail price updates. We reserve the right to make changes at any time and without notice.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We take every care in describing colours, materials and sizes of products. Colour descriptions are subject to individual interpretation and are provided as an approximate guide.

The colour of products in photos may appear slightly different to the actual product due to variations in individual screen display.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

If you wish to cancel your order please email customerservice@sunglassstudio.co.uk. If your order has not been dispatched we will cancel it for you.

Where goods have already been dispatched, please return them to us in accordance with the points below.

You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

Refunds or exchanges will be given providing that:

the items are received back at our offices within the specified time period

the products including any associated cases, cloths or accessories have not been worn, used or damaged

all labels, tags and stickers are intact and have not been tampered with.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items. This charge is not refundable.

To ensure safe delivery customers are requested to:

use a traceable method of postage such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. Items lost in the post and not received back at our offices cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Package goods securely to avoid damage in transit

Gift wrapping is non refundable

Refunds can only be given back to the card that was used for making the original payment.

The above clauses do not affect your statutory rights.

WEBSITE ACCESS & CONTENT

This site is normally available 24 hours a day, however access may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance, repair or for reasons beyond our control.

We make every effort to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, however due to the volume of material we cannot warrant 100% accuracy. If you become aware of a mistake please let us know and we shall endeavour to correct it as soon as possible.

We may make changes to the content, products and prices at any time without notice.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The copyright and other intellectual property rights of all text, photographs and graphical images on this site are owned by or licensed to Sunglass Studio. Any use of this site or its contents, including copying and storing it in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Sunglass Studio.

You are permitted to print and download extracts from this site for your own use on the following basis:

no documents or related graphics are modified in any way

no graphics on this site are used separately from accompanying text

our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.

Any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with the clause above for any purpose is prohibited. Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Privacy Policy , any material you transmit or post to this Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary and we will have no obligations with respect to such material.

We do not warrant that items for sale on the Website are appropriate for use outside the United Kingdom.

Only the parties to these terms and conditions may seek to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall continue to have full force and effect.
